Patrick Omameh is heading to Jacksonville. The four-year veteran lineman has played football for the San Francisco 49ers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the Chicago Bears. Omameh started all 16 games for the Bucs in 2014, then signed with Chicago prior to the start of last season.

Omameh is a very athletic interior lineman, but lacks the strength that many teams desire on the inside. This is purely a depth signing for the Jaguars, but the former Michigan Wolverine could end up seeing some time at right guard.
The loser of the left tackle starting job (Kelvin Beachum vs. Luke Joeckel) will likely occupy one of the guard spots, while 2nd-year OL A.J. Cann projects to start at the other.
